Writing Habit

Hello.
It's me.

It is devistating that I could hear Adele's voice all over my head. It won't go! Oh Adele, Please.

The posting today is not about Adele, or her new album. Nope. But it is my  own experience of being so stupid and ignorant.
I received my degree in Literature, a year ago. I am a proud woman at that time. But then, I came to something so funny.

Perusak itu Sebenarnya adalah Anda Sendiri!

Mengagumi bukan berarti menghargai!
In fact, they are!

Cintai lah Indonesia" or many others.

It is just a simple thing.

Crazy isn't it?

Taman Bungkul by Kaskus

Should I pray for Paris?

Dear François,

This attack is an outrage against France, and against Europe as a whole. Today, France is on the frontline of the fight against terrorism. But she is not alone. This fight is the fight of all Europeans, and all the other peoples of the free world, too.  France is a great, strong and resilient nation. It will overcome this tragedy.

Standing in solidarity, the European Union will assist her. We will ensure that the tragic, shameful act of terrorism against Paris fails in its purpose: to divide, to frighten, and to undermine liberty, equality and fraternity, the values that make France a great nation.

France has ensured that these values are at the very heart of the European Union. And the European Union will always be there for France, its government and its people.

We will demand that world leaders meeting in the G20 in Antalya respond to the threat of extremist terrorism. We will ensure that everything that can be done at European level to make France safe is being done. And we will make sure that Europe's counter-terror strategy is fit for purpose to face the challenges of the months ahead.

Yours sincerely,
Donald Tusk, European Council President

Paris has just been massacred, more than a hundred were killed. Half-mast flag all over the world. Said by some reports, ISIS is responsible for this. European countries tightened their border control, preventing the other ISIS coming and terrorizing. Other countries have tightened their security, especially security reinforcement for embassies, and America now is on alert over the ISIS attack. World is now ready to war with ISIS. Does it mean they are ready to war with Islam?
Well, frankly to say, this is not a direct impact for me in regards to ISIS attacks and I could say, I don't get bothered. Come on! War is part of the so-called countries' political relations. Why should I care?
Common people will automatically connect to Islam once after they hear the word ISIS. You should know that we disagree! We, a hundred percent, believe that ISIS is not Islam and we oppose them. Please tell me, how Islamic ISIS is with its brutalities? We are not taught to kill people, even if they are non-believers, or sinner, or violence, or whatever they do. We don't pay blood with blood. So come again, how Islamic they are?
Lately, I contributed to clearing Islam's name. I was building a strong and solid picture that Islam is not a terrorist, a religion of peace. I put best stories of how Islam is a non-violence religion. Islamic values teach us to respect the human rights, protect women and kids, appreciate other people. And suddenly, the attacks really did attack that solid depiction. It did tear down the strong concretes of how peaceful Islam is.
And I have been thinking, how would it feel to live surrounded by people suspecting you, as a Muslim, are part of terrorism. It seems never be easier. You might be teased among your colleagues or neighbors, or being criticized by the way you live in Islamic way, or the worst is you can be exiled from your community.
Apparently, if they could bring themselves to some thoughts, they at least would understand how to determine the real Islamic values. If Islam is really dangerous, so why not the UAE or Malaysian or Indonesian attacking or, the simple thing is, disallowing the non-muslims citizens living inside their countries. Or, why would the Islamic states still build their cooperation with non Muslim countries?

Because, they are refused to try to learn the core value of Islam.

Say, "O People of the Scripture, why do you disbelieve in the verses of Allah while Allah is Witness over what you do?" ~ QS. Ali Imran (3):98

I called it House Sweet House

I called it House Sweet House.

Every house or room, rented or bought, small or big, whatever it varries as long as you love it, it is your heaven. There are no other places as heaven-y as your own.

Talking about my mini flat in the middle of Jakarta, surrounded by malls and where I could hear everything up here, it is not easy. It is NOT! Though you are up almost touching the sky won't make you could live as easy as you thought.

Late night,
I was in the middle of my dearmy vacancy in Ibiza. I slept, with my warm blanket, on soft linen, blown by mild air. The sudden and long and grieving and dark siren woke me up. In the late of very night. I knew, somebody out there screamed seeing their house burned, or they are grieving with blood and car crashed, or crying and worried, their love ones in comma.

How could I continue my sleep?

Several following day, 11.00 pm.
It was time for every worker to sleep, I supposed. They needed to be in rush, dealing with traffic, or chasing after buses on the next day. I closed my eyes and drawn my blanket. The digging machines had just started to work. They worked at night to avoid busy traffic and be ready for the next morning. I started to close my eyes after tiring day and the sound was really....... ugh. (Since I was bit sensitive with sound when I began to sleep)

How could I start to rest?

One fine night, weekend, 1.00 am.

I stayed a bit late for reading books, stalking celebrities, and reading books again. 12.00 was the latest time for me to be awake. I hoped nothing happened, and I could rest well. One hour after my thought while I was entering my sleepy mind, crashed!!! A motorcycle had just hit (or probably being hit) something hard. A screaming, from a woman, was so loud I could hear it. She must be in a ..........  It would not take much energies for me to just see what happened from my window. But I refused. Not because I was heartless. But I just could not do anything with that. She was so lucky, some taxi drivers down there helped her. I could tell because none of sirine came.
My wild prejudice.

Then, should I sleep while somebody down there was hurting?

07.30 pm in busy day. Traffic was worst, from my window.

It was the worst traffic I ever saw from my window. Luckily, I was not there. Busway path had just being redesigned. It got around 30cm, or more, higher than the road. One cool car, very cool I could say, went very fast on that Busway path. Even the bus itself had their own speed limit to pass the road, safety reason of course and the road was almost finished. Almost. The roadblocks were not yet ready. The speed was not controlled, and the driver turned the steer outside the path. You could imagine what happened to this car. It fell, almost upside down. It was so lucky, that half of the car body, stucked. The traffic was worst, and now getting undescribeable worsen. By stupidity.

Rundale Palace

Sveki!
(Latvian way to say Hello!)

Winter passed and here comes the Spring! It was nice to see how is the spring welcomed in Riga, Latvia. I took this opportunity to visit one of historical palace in Latvia, Rundāles Pils, or in English, it is Rundale Palace, built during 16th Century.
The long history of this palace is really fascinating, you can read it in its official website.
The photos down below are only the small part of huge Rundale Palace. Please Enjoy!

Just like other common museum, to avoid strange things ruining the part of historical heritage, we need to cover our footwear with this nice blue cover.

At least some Indonesian have come here and put our words in guest book. If you are planning to go there, find my name, ya!

The ceiling ornaments are so cool! Look at those paintings and chandelier. This hallway is so European. Well, what I am trying to say is the painting and the chandelier are completing each other ;)

The bird nest on the roof

The members in my tour team was around 20 persons, so I could not catch all what our guide said. The thing is, this is one of the book in the palace reading room. There were many old books (in Latin, I supposed).

These were the cutlery that the Royals wear.

See the blue things on the right of the photo? They used it as a heater. Very big, ya. Nice to live in modern life :D
Still dry and brown. No worries! It was only the beginning! Let's wait until everything there blossoming, and see how it is beautiful.

I wish I had had much time to just walk around and enjoy the view.

Thank you for reading!

For those who want to travel to Riga, Latvia, my photos probably might help you.
